آتيًا يفتَدينا من هَوْلِ الجحيم

Come redeem us from the horrors of hell

مُبعِدًا عن ربوعِنا كلَّ ليلٍ بهيم

Departing from our land in every dark night

حملته مريم العذراء إلى الدوام

The Virgin Mary carried him to the end

حين عليها الملاك ألقاه السلام

When the angel came to her and delivered peace

ولدته طفلاً مجداً للأنام

She bore a child, glorious in its sleep

وألقته في حضنها وأطل السلام

And took him into her embrace, and brought peace

إنه هنا عندنا عدل وحنان

Here lies the just and tender

الصباح عيد عيد والأرض جنان

The morning of the holiest of days, and heaven on earth

الخَيرُ في بيوتِنا، الحُبُّ والأمانْ
