Сє̀ жєни́хъ грѧдє́тъ въ полȣ́нощи,
Behold, the Bridegroom comes at midnight,
и блажє́нъ ра́бъ Є̑го́же ѡ̑брѧ́щєтъ бдѧ́ща:
And blessed is that servant whom He shall find watching;
нєдосто́инъ же па́ки, Є̑го́же ѡ̑брѧ́щєтъ
And again, unworthy is the servant whom He shall find
ѹ̑ныва́юща. блюдѝ ̑ѹ̀бо дȣшє̀ моѧ̀,
heedless. Beware, therefore, O my soul,
нє сно́мъ ѡ̑тѧготи́сѧ, да нє смє́рти
do not be weighed down with sleep, Lest you be
прєдана̀ бȣ́деши, и̑ ца́рствїѧ внѣ̀
given up to death, and lest you be shut
затвори́шисѧ но воспрѧнѝ зовȣ́щи:
out of the Kingdom. But rouse yourself crying:
с͂тъ, с͂тъ, с͂тъ Є̑сѝ Б͂же, б̂цею поми́лȣй на́съ.
Holy, Holy, Holy, art Thou, O our God, Through the Theotokos have mercy on us.
