شو حلوِةْ السُّفرَةْ ما بْحاجِةْ لْكِترَةْ
How beautiful is the table spread, with no need for a lot of food
مَيِّةْ معْ تَمرَةْ بتقوّي العِشرَةْ
Some water with a date both give strength to the fellowship

اسألْ عن جارَكْ ما تبقى بْدارَكْ
Ask about your neighbour, do not remain at home
في بْيوتْ بْحزنا مدفونِة جْوارَكْ
Some households nearby are overwhelmed with sadness
دقّ وْعَ بْوابا سايِرْ أصحابا
Knock on their doors, talk to the residents
خفِّفْ عَذابا بِتْهونْ صْعابا
Alleviate their hardships, ease their pain
تْبَرَّعْ ما تقلّي عايشْ بالقلِّةْ
Donate and do not say to me; I live in poverty
الحَسَنِةْ بِتعَلّي قدرك وتحلي
The good deed raises your rank
جَمعِة رمضانْ .. أهلاً رمضان

عطّر أوقاتَكْ بْذِكر الرحمٰنْ
Beautify your times by performing the remembering God Almighty
ونوِّرْ ليلاتَك بْآيِ قرءانْ
Enlighten your nights by reciting the verses of the Quran
علّمْ وتْعَلَّمْ انّو المنان
Learn and teach others that God,
ما بيِسكُنْ ولا أيّا مكانْ
His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth
صَلِّ التراويحْ مع هالخلّانْ
Perform Al-Tarawih prayers, along with your friends
كَتِّرْ المنيحْ بتنسى الأحزانْ
Increase the good deeds, and you shall forget your sorrows
ما بتَعرفْ أيّا فِعل وإحسانْ
You do not know through which act of kindness
بِثوابو بتِلقى بُكرا الغفرانْ
By whose reward in the Hereafter, you might attain forgiveness
