كم عِشتُ والشوقُ بي
I've always been living and longing
أَهْوى حبيبي النبي
in the Love of my beloved Prophet ﷺ
مُذْ كنتُ طفلاً صَبيّ
since i was a young child
قلبي و رُوحي فِداه
my heart and my soul are sacrificed for his sake ﷺ
بلغَ العُلا بكمالِه
He ﷺ reached exaltation by his perfection
كشفَ الدُجى بِجمالِه
He ﷺ eliminated darkness with his beauty
حَسُنَتْ جميعُ خِصالِه
All his ﷺ qualities are perfect
صلُّوا عليهِ و آلِه
Blessings be upon him ﷺ and his family رمضي الله عنه
هو سيِّدي المُصْطفى
He ﷺ is my master and the chosen one
هو قُدوَتي وكَفَى
He ﷺ is my role model and enough for me
هو مَن غَدا ذِكْرهُ
He ﷺ is whose praise has become
لَحنًا بِكلِّ الشِّفاهْ
the melody on every lip
لَو مَرَّ في مَسْمَعِي
Whenever I hear his ﷺ name
طه جرَتْ أَدْمُعِي
'Taha', my tears begin to flow
وَفَاضَ شَوْقِي لَهُ
my longing for him ﷺ begins to overflow
وَحَلَّ في أَضْلُعِي
and his love ﷺ resides deep within me
مَلأتَ قَلبي فِدا
you filled my heart with sacrifice
وأَنَرْتَ دَرْبي هُدى
and you have enlightened my path with your guidance
وكُنتَ لي سَيّدي
you have always been for me, my master
نورًا أضاءَ المَدى
a light that aluminates the most distant horizons
