In another life, one might be cruising the Big Dipper in their dreams

With a wave of his pen he etches into his bone

The chronicles of his present life, a madman’s confession

Thought, willpower, karma, genes5

Why do you yearn for impermanence, like the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl9 do? (Staring blankly at these four walls)
看宇宙 多虛構
Observe, that the universe is merely a fabrication
一出生 已劇透
And our births are tainted with spoilers
舉骰子 送上帝手 Woo
So raise those dice, and place them in the hands of God, woo~
貪生 貪了新 不記得厭舊

The soul declares that in its remaining years, the body shall not
再度狂入心
Be devoured by madness once more
貪生 終於會 貪夠
Clinging dearly to life, yet he has had enough of it

The sentient beings are sowing eternal wounds

The never-ending cycle of karma and phala12
永沒有出口
Holds no way out
日記罰抄 每天萬遍《大悲咒》
So every day he writes the lines of the Great Compassion Mantra in his diary over and over again
花生 想觀眾 也參透
Hoping the bystanders will drop their popcorn and see through the absurdities
他生 化腐為 不朽
In another life, one might just make a silk purse out of a sow's ear13
閂一窗 開一章
A window is shut, a chapter unfolds
誌下半生 狂盡退守
Narrating the rest of his life, withdrawn from madness
修身 安穩 美滿 事業
Self-cultivation, security, a blissful career
娶妻 生子 購置 物業
Marriage, having a child, acquiring property
一家 幾口 引發 共業
The family members share a collective karma
終於 再次 陷入 狂
and eventually descend into madness once more
